Modere "Mud" Bruneteau was a solid two-way player during much of the 1930's and 1940's. He was the first player in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup in each of his first two seasons in the league, but more importantly is forever remembered for ending the longest overtime in the history of the National Hockey League.
