Remembering Art Chapman
Art Chapman was a star forward for the NHL's New York Americans for much of the late 1930s. He was named a Second Team NHL All-Star in 1936-37.
Art Chapman was born in Winnipeg on May 29, 1905. He was an outstanding athlete in his youth in Winnipeg, starring at both hockey and lacrosse. He attended Machray School and played with championship lacrosse teams there in all divisions.
