Here is part two of the two-part series on Theo Fleury! Enjoy!

After starting his pro career in the minors with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles, Fleury was called up midway through the 1988-89 season and joined the Flames in a big way. He scored 34 points in 36 games in his rookie season and then added 11 points in the playoffs, playing a vital role in the Calgary Flames Stanley Cup triumph, their first and only that they've won in team history.

Fleury spent eleven seasons in a Flames uniform, including two as team captain. He had two 100 point seasons and one fifty goal season in 1990-91. In that 1991 playoffs, he scored the memorable game six overtime winner against the Edmonton Oilers that saw him sliding across the ice, pumping his fists and crashing into the boards into the arms of his teammates in celebration. The goal and celebration still gets played all the time by CBC come playoff time every year.

After many seasons in Calgary, Theo was part of a six-player deal on February 28th 1999 that sent him to Colorado. He finished the year with the Avalanche and then signed on the following summer with the New York Rangers. Despite his wild off-ice antics, Fleury was a star player on Broadway, averaging well over a point-per-game in his three seasons there.
